The light on my fridge filter has been red for about a year (which means it needs to be replaced) but I cant get the filter out. I have a double door stainless steel Whirlpool and the filter is located at the bottom. Does anyone else have this problem? Do you know how to get the d*mn thing out. No matter how hard I turn either way it wont come out!

My ice maker in my Whirpool fridge is producing only a few cubes, and the ones it does make are almost always hollow or small. All of the advice I’ve found on here says that the filter probably needs to be changed, but how the heck do I change the filter? Where is it on the fridge? Where would I get a replacement filter? I didn’t even know they had filters.

The water comes out sort of slow and i think it could go faster, is there a way to increase the pressure by adjusting the filter or something? it might be a normal speed but it takes almost a minute to fill a 16 oz cup. the refridgerator is a large samsung

Is it filtered? And if so, would a brita filter on a tap do the same thing?

we have a ge side by side and i figured the filter was old and now it wont give any water.i un plugged the quick connect blue and white fitting bottom under door and have no presuser.i blew the line threw to the water outlet in door dispenser and its clear

The filtered water (and ice) from my fridge taste awful. Yes, the filter has been replaced but that it has an eggy/mediciny taste to it. Our tap water tastes great so I am confused as to what is causing this problem. Any ideas? Thank you.

I need a filter for a Jenn-air refridgerator. Would like to buy from Walmart or Target.

I plan on taking out all the acid from a car battery then fill it with distilled water + EDTA, rinse, then restore the acid and maybe top it off with some distilled water. The problem is that its pretty hard to make a fairly large quantity of distilled water at home. Can I just use the water that comes out of my fridge? My refridgerator has a build in water filter.
