Is an undersink water filtration system better?

undersink water filter
seer eyus asked:

I have a refrigerator that only has an inline filter instead of the additional (and much desired) second filter in the fridge. We have used the sink faucet one for awhile but it’s so expensive, has to be changed a lot, and is always in the way when I’m doing dishes. Would you recommend getting an undersink filtration system or buying something like Culligan delivered already filtered water?

Bad water. Is this a viable solution?

undersink water filter
carboy2 asked:

The issue I have here is that we have big particles and bad odour/taste. I would like to know if I can piggy back 2 undersink Rainfresh filters under my sink(I live in an apartment), the first having the sediment cartridge and the second having the carbon cartridge. The concern I have with only using the carbon is that it will become way to clogged with the big particulate matter. Is this a valid concern or will just the carbon filter do the job?
Here is a link to the one I am looking at..

How do I work the Kenmore Dual Undersink Water Filter?

undersink water filter
dominos_tweety asked:

I moved into a home with a Kenmore Dual Undersink Water Filter already installed. When I turned it on this little red light was blinking and my sister said that the water tasted funny. We asked the plumber about it, but he didn’t have a clue. I took another look at it and found it runs on batteries, so I switched them out. Now when you turn it on, a green light flashes, but the water still tastes funny. Am I supposed to do something else with it?

Company which provides installation and service of undersink water filter system?

undersink water filter
Scarlet Rose asked:

I’m looking for an undersink water filter system, however, every company I find online or via the yellowpages seem to just sell the system, then its up to you to organise a plumber to install it, and monitor it for a replacement filter etc.

I’m hoping someone might be able to tell me of a company who services the Sydney (city) area and provides full service – Supplies the system and all its parts, installation and is available for service and new filter installation when required.

Any help would be great.. Thanks :)

Even if your local municipal water supply is considered "drinkable", it's a good idea to use water filters as it will further purify the drinking water not to mention making it taste better.
