I just bought my first house and it has a well for water. The house doesn’t appear to have any filtration and doesn’t have a water softener. While I would like a water softener I can’t afford one now.

increase appliance life and reduce corrosion, or does anyone have any other suggestions that would be in that price range?
I am in the market for a water softener. I am looking at the La PURE filtration and conditioning system. I am hoping to connect with someone who actually has the system. How would you rate it compared to a Kinetico or Culligan water softener? Is it effective? Does it really condition water without salt? Any information would be helpful.
The water in my city tastes chlorinated when it comes out of the tap, which will help the most by removing the chlorine taste? Which one will best suit my needs?

There’s a lot of water that comes out of the whole house water filtration system when it cleans itself. Mine is made by Kinetico and it’s comes with 2 filter tanks and 1 softener tank. Can I water plants with that water? It is safe for lawn and other plant life? I hate to see all that water go to waste.
