The water in my city tastes chlorinated when it comes out of the tap, which will help the most by removing the chlorine taste? Which one will best suit my needs?
What about Reverse Osmosis Filtration?

What’s better, water filters that go under your kitchen sink or whole house filters?

Mr. Q asked:

I went to Sears and they had individual reverse-osmosis filters for under your kitchen sink that go for $2-300 that take $20 filters changes every 6 months or else they’ve got a central water whole home filtration system that costs $400 but is self-cleaning, does the whole house, and doesnt need changing for over 10 years. I want to have water be drinkable in the house and don’t mind it just coming from the kitchen. But I could see my family and I flaking on changing the filters. But I’m guessing just one at the sink would taste better than one for the entire house. Even if your local municipal water supply is considered "drinkable", it's a good idea to use water filters as it will further purify the drinking water not to mention making it taste better.
